Si & Veronica formulate a great episode 164! The BBMAs were this past weekend and The Weeknd finally got his due for the awards season. Adonis joined his Champagne Papi to help accept the Artist of the Decade award. Jonas Brothers are back on the road with Kelsea Ballerini and a new single with Marshmello. Demi Lovato has come out as non-binary and taken on they/them pronouns. There is a potential new throuple with Taika Waititi, Tess Thompson, and Rita Ora showing a ton of PDA Down Under. Timothee Chalamet will be taking his sickly Victorian self to the set of the new Willy Wonka prequel as the lead. Vee went “Yikes!” to Kendall Jenner’s colonizer chic and super tone deaf tequila ad. You think Kendall would’ve learned from the Pepsi incident. For our Mini Main topic this week, we dove into what makes a good first date and how you can snag a second date. Si & Veronica reunite for a great episode 163. “Friends” is also reuniting on HBO Max (FINALLY) with some special celeb guests to go down memory lane. Ellen is doing some last dance breaks with her show ending in 2022. John Mulaney is already hopping back onto the dating scene with one of the hottest stars… Olivia Munn. A couple of low-key weddings took place this weekend with Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez, as well as Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas. People are not wasting any time! Vee went “Yikes!” to multiple sexual assault and drugging allegations against T.I. and Tiny over the past decade. The sun is shining brighter, so we couldn’t avoid this Mini Main Topic any longer: Hot Girl (and boy?) Summer. Is it really about being a ho? Or is it more than that? We went back in time to 2002 with Ben Affleck and JLo seemingly getting back together. Hearts are breaking all over the comedy world with the news that John Mulaney and his wife Anna are splitting up after 6 years. Drake will be named Artist of the Decade at this weekend’s BBMAs. We are not down with Zuck suggesting an Instagram for kids based on how we were wildin’ on the internet as children. Si & Veronica are feeling a little rusty after another forced week hiatus but we are back for episode 160! You may notice that there are only episodes 158-160 in your pod feeds. We did some spring cleaning to get rid of potential future copyright issues. Check our YouTube for more episodes and let us know if there are a couple favorites that you want us to re-upload. The Oscars were this past weekend and viewership isn’t getting any better. Hilary Duff will star in the “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off, “How I Met Your Father,” on Hulu. Billie Eilish will be bringing us a single this week off of her new album, “Happier Than Ever,” that is set to release at the end of July. Vee went “Yikes!” to a tweet in bad taste by the Las Vegas Raiders account following the Derek Chauvin verdict. She also went yikes to JBiebs wearing dreadlocks… again. Maybe he needs to time travel back to 2016 Biebs… The big news out of Bachelor Nation these past couple weeks was Colton coming out as gay. Si & Veronica are hobbling (well, only Si is actually hobbling), our way through episode 159! We are sad to say that DMX passed away this past week at the age of 50. Will Smith is the first to pull a movie project out of Georgia after the passing of the suppressive voting law. How apropos that his movie is about the Reconstruction era… In “couples you didn’t realize were even a thing” news, Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song welcomed their first child together. Sebastian Stan blessed the internet with his booty as promo for his new movie “Monday.” Vee went “Yikes!” to the idea of Usher throwing fake “Usher Bucks” at strippers instead of the cold hard cash they deserve, but it ended up just being a promo. Our Mini Main Topic this week ties into the drama surrounding Rachael Kirkconnell’s visit to NYC to see Matt James… just days after he invited a different girl to Miami with him for later that week. Si & Veronica are back after a forced week hiatus for episode 158! The Kardashians are always making sure they are in the news, whether it is for suspicious rings, unedited bikini pics, or billionaire status. Our city, Atlanta, has been abuzz as the MLB pulled the All-Star Game from being hosted here amid the recent voting bill signed into law. Everyone’s favorite Regency era thirst object, Duke of Hastings aka Rege-Jean Page, will not be returning for Bridgerton season 2. DMX is still in a bad state after an overdose and heart attack and we send our best thoughts to him and his family. Ariana Grande is now on our hit list, but she is on the coach list for The Voice. Vee went “Yikes!” to all the situations/videos surrounding the Quavo and Saweetie break-up… and to the fact that Si doesn’t know who Saweetie is. We do a “Mini Main Topic” deep dive into Bhad Bhabie turning 18 and making $1 million on OnlyFans within the first 6 hours of no longer being a minor. Are teenagers growing up in a way to want to monetize their bodies/sexuality or are we so deeply entrenched in underage festishaztion that we can’t get out?
