The internet knows how to take something and run with it… and the current obsession is the rumor of Chris Evans and Selena Gomez dating. Much like Ariana Grande before her, Jesy Nelson of Little Mix is getting called out for blackfishing in her latest music video. Vee went “Yikes!” to a couple different things this week. First up is Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara and their his and hers toilets. They can literally hold hands while they poop. Next up is Dave Chappelle’s controversial new special and how Netflix has suspended a trans employee for speaking out against it. Is keeping the special up the right or wrong decision? Are we the drama for still talking about Bachelor Nation news even though it’s an off week between seasons? Too bad because Ivan spilled some tea and Pieper confirms her relationship with Brendan. Episode 183 | ”Sunday Morning”

Si & Veronica are feeling somethin’ magnificent for episode 183! Britney is officially freed and her dad is no longer on her conservatorship! Sad girl fall will continue with Adele dropping a single and potentially her album soon. This upcoming Super Bowl halftime show will be an homage to LA rappers and R&B with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and more. Walmart is coming for Yeezy after Kanye’s newest logo looks extremely similar to the superstore’s sunburst logo. Game of Thrones is joining the prequel game with “House of Dragon” slated to premiere on HBO next year. Grimes decided to make herself an Onion headline (and a meme) by walking around with the Communist Manifesto for the paps to see. Vee went “Yikes!” to Nick Viall’s gf, Natalie Joy, and her inability to think of her own sappy bf birthday IG caption. Instead, she just copied and pasted chunks of Finneas’ gf, Claudia’s, posts from over the years. It was actually the finale of paradise, and it actually didn’t need to be 3 hours long. Episode 182 | ”Bodies on the Beach!”

Si & Veronica are not throwing away our shot for episode 182! A couple of big breakups happened this past week, one in the tech/alien world and one in the Bachelor Nation world. You guessed it: Grimes and Elon Musk and then Clare and Dale, respectively, called it quits. The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie have started to see each other seemingly “Often” and it is fueling dating rumors. If Black Mirror comes back with new episodes, the new Amazon Ring home drone will definitely be the star of the show. Itsa new Mario movie with Chris Pratt as the titular role along with some other big names. R. Kelly was convicted on all nine counts of sex trafficking and racketeering in the latest bit of justice for the #MeToo movement. Vee went “Yikes!” to the info that a potential contestant on the upcoming season of the Bachelor (that’s right, we still have a full Bachelorette season until that) was supposed to get married this past weekend. The pod duo definitely thought this three-hour-long episode was the finale and we were bamboozled. Instead we were greeted with Ivan showing his shady side and disappointing Riley. Anna and Mykenna struggle to find dates on the barren beach. And much like Vee’s prom, Paradise prom had some tears and unexpected couples. Episode 181 | ”Actual Fake Show”

Si & Veronica are feeling the magic for episode 181! We send condolences to the friends, family, and fellow castmates of Willie Garson with his recent death. “The Activist” TV show must have heard Vee on last week’s episode as they decided to reformat the competition show to just being one documentary special. Jessica from season one of Love is Blind is engaged to her hot LA doctor bf. Jeopardy is still in search of a full time host to follow Alex Trebek, but Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialek will finish out the year as hosts. The Emmys weren’t fully restricted to Zoom this year, but Seth Rogen’s presentation of an award made it seem like they weren’t super COVID safe. Ted Lasso took home a lot of the comedy category of the Emmy awards. Vee went “Yikes!” to the full terrifying story of Gabby Petito and her death. She also went yikes to the fact that a young white woman’s story tends to get more press than that of the many missing women of color and indigineous nations. This week on the beach was decently boring except for the tropical storm that led the lovebirds to the hotel for a few days. Si & Veronica are feeling the little joys of the simple times for episode 180! Big life updates this past week from both JLaw with her pregnancy and Britney Spears with her engagement. Rest in peace to comedy great, Norm Macdonald. The VMAs had some great performances from Lil Nas X, Normani, and Chloe Bailey, and Olivia Rodrigo racked up a decent amount of awards like her mentor Taylor Swift in years past. The Met Gala mostly disappointed with the too broad ‘Murica theme, but co-chairs Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, and Timothee Chalamet pulled out some lewks. Nicki Minaj has tweeted nonsense about her cousin’s friend’s most likely STI-ridden testicles saying that the COVID vaccine caused his condition. If that isn’t enough of a yikes moment, Vee went “Yikes” to CBS’s upcoming reality competition show called “The Activist” that pretty much pits people against each other to see who virtue signals the “best”. The kicker? One of the hosts has famously done black face! We are back down to only one night of Paradise a week, but that doesn’t mean we are lacking drama and love connections. Joe and his pack of “disgruntled females” took on the clout-chasing couple and Brendan and Pieper ultimately decide to send themselves home. Si & Veronica hope to make some ~champagne poetry~ for episode 179! After a long nine months of pregnancy, Drake birthed Certified Lover Boy to top the charts. “Rick and Morty” will be coming out with a live action version that will definitely pander to Si with casting Christopher Lloyd from “Back to the Future” as Rick. John Mulaney gave us an update on his eventful past year and how much more eventful his future will be now that he and Olivia Munn are expecting a child together. Cardi B and Offset welcomed their baby boy this past week. Nick Jr. got Millennials in their feels with a viral video of Steve from Blues Clues giving us all closure for when he left for college. Rest in peace to accomplished actor Michael K. Williams. Vee laughed through her “Yikes!” moment of Peppa Pig shading Donda after her album ranked higher on Pitchfork’s scale. The beach was wildin’ out this week with some potentially scheming new arrivals. At least our girl Natasha has had some social media justice for how Brendan and Pieper tried to play us all. Si & Veronica aren’t going to jail for this episode 178! Donda dropped over the weekend and everything surrounding it has been controversial to say the least. Drake has fired back by dropping billboards, IG posts, and interrupting SportsCenter to announce the release date of Certified Lover Boy. Lil Nas X used a parody of Drake’s IG post to announce the date of his full “Montero” album. Tik Tok finally banned the Milk Crate Challenge from their platform so we don’t have to see that dangerous stunt anymore. Much to Veronica’s chagrin, Jake Paul is still making money off of fights. Will Smith got to congratulate his successor for the dramatic reboot of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. Vee went “Yikes!” to Scott Disick trying to petty bond with another one of Kourtney’s exes and got called out on IG stories. This week in Paradise was one dumpster fire after another. People are self-sabatoging, cakes are being thrown, and the boom boom room is being occupied. Becca joined this week and she might be taking Demi’s crown as queen of the beach. Si & Veronica are delighted for this sunny episode 177! The artist soon to be “formerly known as Kanye” is fueling continued beef with Drake after he released his address on IG. Who will release their album first? Is this all a marketing ploy? Kylie Jenner has all but confirmed her pregnancy, but Tik Tok theories seem strong. OnlyFans was about to ban porn due to pressure from banks and payment companies, but this week of free advertisement and backlash made them reconsider. There is some new music coming down the pipeline from Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves that will probably be setting the scene for a sad girl/boy fall. The crate challenge has clowns all over the internet trying a dangerous stunt. Grimes made a clown of herself with her submission to the “is he hot or?” Tik Tok trend trying to defend her billionaire boyfriend. Vee went “Yikes!” to the baby from the “Nevermind” album cover suing Nirvana for “child exploitation and pornography”... 30 years later. Paradise gets hit by Hurricane Demi this week and she’s already showing how insecure she is! Thomas the Tree joined this week and Katie’s season of men go full mean girls on him. Si & Veronica are booming into episode 176! Kanye is still withholding Donda from us, but is going back home to the Chi for ANOTHER listening event. Drake’s hairline is withholding us from a full Loverboy heart because of hair loss post-Covid. Travis Barker made his return to a plane for the first time since surviving a crash in 2008. The worst throwback is happening with anonymous app Yik Yak returning to the scene. A huge step in the #FreeBritney movement happened this past week with Jamie Spears agreeing to step down for an easy transition with the conservatorship. An old Awkwafina interview is going viral and having Black Twitter question her blaccent. Vee went “Yikes!” to the continued fatphobia surrounding anything Lizzo does, especially the release of her new single and video. Si thinks her crying on IG live fuels the haters more, but why can’t people just decide to not like her music and not make it about her looks? It’s finally Paradise and the beach is STACKED with hotties… and age gaps. Everyone and their uncle (see what I did there?) got the first kiss of paradise. Si & Veronica are keeping it connected as best as they can for episode 175! Lizzo is coming back strong with a Cardi feature on her new single. In the most MGK and Travis Barker fashion, the duo announced their upcoming album with matching tattoos. Beyonce is poking the hive with her latest interview stating that new music could be on the way soon. Bitch betta have my money… Well Rihanna has billions of dollars of it as she joins the billionaire club. And she smells like money too with her new, sold-out perfume. David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston almost broke the internet this week with rumors of them dating. Are they more than just friends? Vee went “Yikes!” to Chet Hanks in general, but this time specifically for his anti-vax and anti-mask rant after his own parents had severe COVID-19 cases. Someone just take his phone away already. Katie’s season is finally wrapped up, but Bachelor Nation/ABC made sure to make it a nice 3-hour long finale for the ad dollars. Aunt Lindsey is the final boss of all aggressive and rude relatives. Katie and Blake are happily in love as each other’s sloppy thirds. Greg had “no ragrets” not even one letter after watching himself back on After The Final Rose, but Katie might with how hard in the paint she went on him. But, hey, thank god it is almost Paradise!!
