Si & Veronica know there is no place like home for episode 204! Clayton makes the hometown tour and stops first at Virginia for Susie’s very sweet fam. Like a Sour Patch Kid, she does go sour by holding Clayton in a headlock during their Jiu Jitsu date. Gabby in Denver is up next and she conveniently takes him on a hike to “proposal rock” and a hot tub. Her Grandpa John is the MVP of the whole episode and her dad’s cheesy “Love, Actually” bit wastes 10 minutes of our time. Serene shows Clayton around (and shows him up) on a high ropes course in her hometown of OKC… Rachel rounds us out in the swamps of Florida with a dry hump sesh on the “kissing tree” and a reluctant thumbs up from her mobster dad. Even though she’s the most beautiful, we sadly say goodbye to Serene.

Tom Brady is going to make sure Atlanta never forgets that fateful 2017 Super Bowl with a new movie coming down the pipeline. Sydney Sweeney fans and admirers are mourning after finding out her and her long time bf are reportedly engaged. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are expecting their second child together. Will it be another girl to add to the potential “Jonas Cousins” band? We probably won’t need to get #FreeAmandaPlease trending because it sees like all parties are supporting Amanda Bynes ending her conservatorship. Si & Veronica aren’t feeling too bamboozled for episode 203! The first part of this episode was the big Mara vs. Sarah showdown where both of them are fighting their own insecurities and not really even for Clayton’s heart! Sarah wins this round. The girls are in Vienna with lots of palace dates and Susie gets the coveted “Pretty Woman” date, complete with a set of Louboutins that makes all the other girls green with envy. Even though all these people need actual therapy, Bachelor keeps forcing “therapy dates” down our throats. Sarah quoting Ariana Grande’s smash hit “no tears left to cry” wasn’t enough to save her. Serene, Gabby, Susie, and Rachel and their dads will face Clayton next week in hometowns.

Pete Davidson is back on the ‘gram to follow his hometown baseball team, his gf, and… Sebastian Stan? Kanye is too busy turning down $100 million deals with Apple Music to notice. Britney Spears signs her own $15 million book deal and we can’t wait for the tea to be spilt. USWNT made money moves as well with a settlement for their equal pay dispute. Si & Veronica are still feeling the love for episode 202! This episode starts with the end of the era… the Shanae Show didn’t get renewed and she got sent home. The Clayton Crew takes on Croatia! Teddi got pulled for the first 1 on 1 date (that includes the third ice cream date of the season) and she drops the virgin bomb. Mara is getting antsy about her clicking biological and Bachelor clock and decides to take it out on Sarah, almost ruining Sarah’s 1 on 1 date. Will Mara last long as the new villain or will she turn the women against youngster Sarah?

The cause of Bob Saget’s death has been released but it leaves more questions than answers. It isn’t an Olympics unless there is a doping controversy with the Russians, but now we have Sha’Carri Richardson chiming in with how unfairly she was treated for a lesser drug. Kylie Jenner released the name of her newborn son, potentially early to try to flip the script on what made all of us go “Yikes!” this week… i.e. Kanye’s social media tirade. From posting text screenshots, sending truckloads of flowers, and even breaking up with Julia Fox, Ye is on a whole other level and it’s getting scary and sad. Si & Veronica are rolling back the tape for episode 201! Serene got a pier all to herself with Clayton for her 1:1. They finally took their travels actually international… to Canada. Gabby has been deemed the annoyingly quirky girl. We reached the point of the roast date and the girls didn’t hold back (and did some gimme roasts to Shanae who wasn’t even there). Shanae and Genevieve set sail into Niagara Falls… and we will have to wait until next week to figure out which one makes it out on the other side.

Joe Jonas is looking to put his dancing/DNCE shoes back on with a new single from his spin-off band on the horizon. In baby news, Shay Mitchell is expecting her second child and Kylie Jenner gave birth to her baby boy on 2/2/22. Will she use the name reveal as a marketing tool? We know the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder. Oscar noms are out and “Dune” raked in a lot of noms and Lady Gaga and her Italian accent received zero. Shrimpgate unfortunately took up a ton of time at the beginning of the episode and Elizabeth’s time on the show has ended. Jesse Palmer tries to convince the girls that Houston is the international trip of their dreams. Rachel solidified her role as a frontrunner with lots of sappy whispers. Meanwhile Shanae solidified her role as a villain by crashing the after party and tossing a trophy. Will she make it to the final four?

Lots of baby news this week as Rihanna confirms her pregnancy with A$AP Rocky in true icon fashion. Nick Cannon is expecting his EIGHTH child. More artists are looking to follow in Neil Young’s footsteps over controversy with Joe Rogan and Spotify. Ye claims Donda 2 will come out 2/22/22, but this isn’t our first rodeo with his releases. Si & Veronica are craving shrimp and M&Ms for this episode 199! We saw Cassidy get the boot at the beginning of this week’s Bachelor episode after she very cockily thought her rose would keep her safe. The first group date got deep about body insecurities and how people (women majorly) are objectified… and then the rest of the date goes on to objectify women! We had a stripped down one on one and then a “Baywatch” themed group date that had Clayton licking his chops. But the majority of this episode set up Shanae as the villain to beat with her Emmy-award winning victim acting.

We lost some more entertainment greats this past week with the passing of Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson. There is a bit of closure in the Gabby Petito/Brian Laundrie case after the FBI found Brian’s notebook saying he killed Gabby. Nick and Priyanka Jonas welcomed a baby girl via surrogate this past week. Does this mean all the daughters of the Jonas Brothers will have to make a Jonas Cousins band? Adele has postponed her residency either over COVID-19 or perhaps over her distaste with production. Those mid-Missouri gals might have some other thoughts… One of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s contestants, Clint Arlis, suddenly died this past week. A couple of bachelor babies have been born and named, respectively. Adam and Raven welcomed a baby boy, while Ashley I. and Jared took to Amazon Live to announce the Leo DiCaprio-inspired baby name of their soon-to-arrive son.

Perfectly boho couple Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are no more. Paramore is officially back in the studio… which is perfect timing to headline the When We Were Young festival this fall with new music. Jamie Lynn Spears is making the press circuit for her new book and got two episodes worth of time with Call Her Daddy. Cassidy and Shanae may have their cockiness thrown back in their faces really soon. Hilary Duff excited the girls in ways that Clayton never will, even though the date she led was pretty dumb. Will we even remember the status of the rose ceremony cliffhanger when the show comes back in two weeks? There might be some relationship shake ups in bachelor nation with rumors swirling about a Riley/Maurissa break up, and Clare being seen hanging off of her former contestant, Blake Monar, in Indiana.

Si & Veronica wish you a happy new year with the last episode of 2021, episode 195! RIP to NFL legend John Madden. In happier news, a pod fave, Jojo (the singer), got engaged to her actor boyfriend (known for his recent role in the “Saved by the Bell” reboot). What a Christmas present! Olivia Munn posted a pic of her and John Mulaney’s baby boy. The timing of his birth was a month ago, making the math to his conception extra dicey with when John got out of rehab and his divorce from his wife. Dior has postponed their Cactus Jack collection that was supposed to drop Summer 2022. Things are still spiraling for Travis Scott it seems. Vee went “Yikes!” to Kanye moving in across the street from his estranged ex wife Kim Kardashian. Sure, it will make it overly easy for him to coparent, but it will also just let him track Pete Davidson’s comings and goings. It was a bye week for Bachelor Nation, but Michelle made sure to add some spice to it by revealing the “light-skinned baller” that Jamie spun all the men into a tizzy over. Riley and Maurissa threw some shade about not being included in Bachelor Nation royalty for the After the Final Rose live show. We are itching to see how the drama from Clayton’s season unfolds.
